“Hello.

We show managers how to think differently
It’s a real shift in mindset for someone managing a team for the first time. We help managers recognise that before they can successfully manage others, they must first understand their own strengths and weaknesses.
We work on their skills (the way they communicate, for example) and their mindset (learning how to look at things differently). We also work on how to avoid autopilot and become intentional, which helps them handle situations more skilfully to get the best outcome.
Our popular 'ready-to-go' management programme
This is the perfect introductory course for new managers and gives them a good foundation, which they can then go away and build on. Split into six modules, it’s usually delivered as six half-day sessions spread over several weeks.
Topics include areas like managing yourself, managing teams and dealing with difficult conversations. Many of our clients return to run this course time and again as new managers come through the ranks.
Looking for something a little more ‘bespoke’?
You may have a very clear idea of the kind of management course you want to create, but perhaps need a little help getting it off the ground. We’re very experienced at taking your brief and creating a programme unique to a particular situation.
We can either create content for you, use yours, or combine a mixture of both. Sessions can be planned to fit in with whatever schedule works for you.

Personal Effectiveness
Designed for any level of employee, our personal effectiveness courses help people to learn new skills and understand their own patterns of behaviour, which make them more effective at work.
Topics can be on anything from building resilience to creative thinking. Usually done in small groups, these courses can be completely tailored to focus on what you feel is most helpful at the time.
Who are personal effectiveness courses suitable for?
Let’s face it, all of us could do with a few pointers when it comes to the way we work. Feeling we don’t have enough hours in the day, worrying our presentation skills are up to scratch, coping with criticism, spending time on networking… the list can go on and on. Nurturing the careers and well-being of all staff (especially those you really want to keep) will not only help them engage and perform better, they’ll feel more appreciated too.
The different topics we cover
Some of the things we can help you with (please ask if you can’t see what you need):
Personal resilience
Time management
Presentation skills
Communicating with impact
Anti-racist allies
Diversity and inclusion
Motivation
Driving careers
Dealing with change
Creative thinking
Effective networking
Wellbeing
Our most popular workshops
We have some courses that our clients return to time and time again.
Wellbeing is an area we specialise in, and a hot topic everywhere at the moment. We delve into the subject of resilience and provide lots of take-home tips on how people can learn to manage their mental health and look after themselves.
Time Management is always popular (after all, when has managing your time ever been easy?). We show people how to focus on priorities and the things that deliver value, rather than just ploughing on through and feeling swamped.
Have you something specific in mind?
If you have a particular area you want to create a course on, we’ll work with you to create something bespoke. It could be you’re going through a change management programme and need some sessions to help staff adjust. Or perhaps you’re focusing on a diversity strategy and need to do some communication around this. We can either provide content from scratch, use yours, or collaborate and create together.
How the sessions work
Personal effectiveness workshops are usually done in small groups (typically 12-16 people). How we structure the sessions really depends on what you want us to do and how many topics you want to cover. Options vary from an online session of 2 hours (you could also have a programme of these running over several weeks) to 2-3 day-long sessions in a classroom. We say any topic needs at least an hour to 90 minutes to cover the basics, so multiple topics just mean session times (or number of sessions) increase. Talk to us about what you need, and we’ll advise you based on our experience.
Why choose us?
We’ve been running personal effectiveness programmes for companies all over the world for a long time, and we’ve covered pretty much every subject you can throw at us. We’ve had excellent feedback from our clients and enjoy working with smaller groups and connecting with people. Your staff will finish our courses feeling more inspired, more confident and with a clear plan of action to hit the ground running.
